The study identifies key factors affecting the management of cargo transportation in the military supply chain and indicates expected changes in this regard. The theoretical research conducted focused on the identification of the essence of the military supply chain, while the pragmatic dimension of the inquiries conducted was based on the diagnostic survey carried out, which primarily included two main streams, namely: determinants affecting transportation management and expected directions of change to improve the process of transportation management in military supply chains. Thus, the purpose of the research conducted was to identify factors affecting the management of transportation processes within military supply chains.

Now it’s the real time to evaluate the advancement on the basis of the possible scenarios in facing the impact of the new coronavirus crisis. There is clear evidence for planning for the next normal, considering the demand trends based on the right insights, and managing the disruptions created by the pandemic thanks to a greater resiliency in the supply chains, identifying innovative ways to add value for those involved in partnering in their supply chains, valorizing digitization. Without doubt, it is imperative to increase the supply chains resilience with the help of the revolutionary digital tools, considering the need for maximum flexibility and agility while navigating the remaining turbulent supply chain landscape, making supply chains a bigger part of the companies’ strategic plans, and taking into account organizations’ movement from singular processes to E2E intelligent workflows.

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the main directions for reducing greenhouse gases in the transport and logistics complex, including through the introduction of modern digital tools. The author states that the solution to this problem is multilevel and requires
serious scientific research. The main directions for reducing greenhouse emissions in transport have been formulated, including through the widespread use of digital tools. Particular attention is paid to the problem of developing a methodology for accounting for greenhouse emissions in the process of implementing multimodal transportation of goods throughout their journey along the entire route.
